Sam Wilson

Sam Wilson is CCS Legal’s principal. Sam worked as an engineer for nearly 40 years for major contractors and consultants across a range of multi-disciplinary projects, including Sydney Olympic Park. Sam has also owned and managed a number of construction and consulting companies. He now practises as a solicitor and is a Grade 1 arbitrator, court appointed referee, and is an accredited mediator and adjudicator in five jurisdictions. Sam has extensive knowledge of standard form contracts and particular expertise in risk identification and allocation. He understands what it takes to deliver a project on time and on budget, and knows the practical and legal issues that confront people working in the construction industry.
